DIdn't she go to _Med School_ in Boston? Like, a med school assosciated with the places she's interviewing there now?

Nah, she went to Dartmouth. That's okay. Now Cristina did go to Stanford for one of her degrees.

however Ellis's fellowship was in Boston, I guess at MGH since they haven't brought it up in relation to Brigham

I misread, it was Lexie who went to Harvard. (I'm finding the show too complex to follow so I've been reading on Wikipedia and forgot which Grey I was reading about. What I'd really like are scripts) Still, as someone who spent much of her childhood near Boston, there is a real difference between moving to Boston, Unknown Land, and BACK to Boston (still a land I don't want, but I know it!)
