Sam sat in the hard wooden library chair and lifted his laptop out of his lap and into hers. "Hey -- listen to this -- 'Strange Green Creature Reported In Local Building's Public Restroom.' That was 1948. Man."
Sam was in la la la research land.

Noot that he was going to say anything--he figured Sam would blab what had happened or that he could needle details out of Danny later.
And then have brand new best friend teasing material. Oh yeah.
"Yeah. The original newspapers either fell apart or got caught in a big fire in the library about fifty years ago. They have what they salvaged from the library's newspaper archives, the librarian said."
Sam sifted through the newspapers on the table. "So... what do we have here, guys? Because there's apparently this building in the middle of town that's been completely covered in ecto goo twice, sets off Danny's ghost breath every time, and is apparently a hot spot for all the guys in town."
