This seed thingy sounds like suits of armour for spiders - I can picture vast legions of them, marching forward inside their seed cones, with thorns for spears. The unarmoured spiders would have increased manoooverability, and would probably be able to outflank them - but their fangs would just bounce off the seed cones. Perhaps the way forward would be to attack their lightly armoured supply trains. The Armoured spiders would become fatigued and hungry, and would have to ditch their cones - thus making them vulnerable once again. Alternatively, a machine that causes dark matter to bond with regular matter might also be used to win the war. Maybe if I knew what a draidel was I'd see it differently.
Tauting frothy horses is my favourite game - I would be horribly jealous if I hadn't had so much fun inventing Aftershock with you.
the aftershock has gone all wonderfully gloopy since it now lives in the freezer (next to the hamster).
