Here are four pictures from the Flickr set that I just created of the whole of my copy of The Old Stile Press edition of The Dreamsong of Olaf Åsteson, an early medieval Norwegian poem. It is illustrated with woodcuts by Maryclare Foa and bound in pitch pine boards by Habib Dingle. The full Flickr set contains 42 images.

Soooo pretty.

Interesting how all the art you seem to have uploaded so far belongs to a very clear period of the mid-20th century - late 40s to 1960, I'd say. Am I wrong?

Actually the Dreamsong was done in 1995. The Thesée was early 60's.
