On the train here it's usually assholes having long arguments with their girlfriends and trying to justify why they cheated on said gf.

The worst experience of this sort I ever have had was at a Hilliard Ensemble concert a few years ago. Right at the end of the first half, as the last chord was fading away, and we were starting to land back on Earth after an hour of Renaissance harmonies, someone's phone rang.

People on public transport who play their music aloud on their phone of MP3 players, either using portable speakers or just through the tinny little built-in things. Just stop it. Really. I don't want your music as my life's soundtrack.

The ones who really worry me are the ones using headphones but at such high volume I can hear it.
