Ok now that I'm not drunk with everyone around me talking, I might be able to come up with a better answer for this. I think grad school is 5 years and your husband is for the rest of your life. Think of all the couples who have been separated by the military and managed to do ok. It would be three years of yucky separation followed by 50+ years of having a loving husband and a fabulous career, which is far more than most of us can hope for.
Then again, if you want to enjoy being a newlywed for a year (who could blame you?) , I would defer it for a year if you can and use that time to evaluate the decision and/or look at programs in Arkansas.
Thanks for the advice! As of right now, i've decided to just act like i'm gonna go to school, then i can always defer at the last minute, but this way i'll at least have my options open.
