I just found this, and wow. It's amazingly good. I love the banter between the four of them, and I love that you made it so into the future, that they're all going to college, yet they're all still good friends, and in touch.
ooooh. This is so good. You've really captured the fab four with all of the snark and playfulness.
I really love the rising tensions between Logan/Veronica and the reluctance Veronica is having, it makes a lot of sense. I really loved the snowball fight. Next chapter!
*rubs hands together maniacally* HOW PSYCHED WAS I WHEN I SAW YOU POSTED ME L/V SMUT FOR LOSING IT?! There may have been cartwheels around this ol' apartment. There's nothing I love more than AU Pink!Veronica virginity smut, and this fit the bill in spades. I love how you brought in the Denver/Colorado Snowed-in Christmas of 2006 and made it fit the story, so clever.
And you just reeled me in, hook, line and sinker with the argument at the beginning of the fic, not only because Veronica's totally justified in being pissed that she's essentially *stranded*...but because I can just see Logan standing back, smiling faintly, watching her rant and thinking about how f'ing gorgeous she is. Love.
I LOVED this moment: "You haven't seen us since August either, and you always said we were your family by choice if not blood," Logan pointed out. "Besides, if you were gonna get so homesick for peaceful little Neptune, why didn't you choose a college closer to home
( ... )
"What? It'd be, like, a learning experience for everyone. Well, for two of you, anyway. Logan can more than handle himself without my expert guidance."
"Lilly," Veronica snapped out, morphing from innocent and easygoing to bitchy and pissed in 0.3 seconds. "Enough."
Logan would have paid to understand the subtext that rode beneath Veronica's ire and the staring match between the two blondes. ...this was a great moment not only because you show us Veronica's bite, but what man doesn't agonize over what a woman's thinking. Hee.
This moment was so tense and delish, I wanted to lick it: He ran a single finger along her jaw, skimming over the soft, cold-reddened skin. Her hair cascaded forward as she leaned over him, propping herself up by her arms. The bright sun haloed her when she leaned closer still, their foreheads nearly touching. He breathed in the white clouds she breathed out and combed his hand through her hair, caressing the back of her neck
( ... )
If I didn't think it would just a little insane to hug my computer, I would. Why? Because I love this fic. I do. :) Love the tension, the dialogue, the relationships, all of it. I'm totally memming it. :)
