I friended you over on InsaneJournal. I'm definitely not renewing here, although I won't vacate entirely--most of my friends are not fandom people, although I think this is something that they might want to take into account. In any case, I'll be excited to be reading you over there.

*shrugs* One thing I've learned through this thing is that different people have different thresholds. I thought people were crazy for leaving in May, now some people will think me crazy and/or reactionary to be leaving now. But it's what feels right to me.

When I read that post, it seemed to me it was anything with minors in sexual situations. You obviously got something else out of it.

The reason I mentioned Buffy specifically is because I think most people don't realize the full ramifications when they say 'minor'.

Buffy was in highschool when she had sex with Angel in the show. In fact, I don't think she was even in her last year of highschool. That means she was definitely a minor. More people than just me have pointed this out.

So any story (or especially picture) featuring Buffy in highschool, in her canon relationship with Angel, is out, according to LJ's rules. That, I think is ridiculous. If it's good enough for prime-time TV, it should be good enough for LJ.
