So I didn't get the job, we think. They decided to go with someone with a higher level of analytical background, which is fine. I like analysis, but it's not like I'm trained. I fumble along, using my common sense, intelligence, and excel's analytical tools, and do pretty well

I have several mp3s from Once More With Feeling - in fact one of them's in Fenris' soundtrack over at muserealm. I agree - a most shiny episode.

And honestly I liked seasons six and seven. Yes, it turned darker - but realistically, by then it had to. Buffy had outlived any other slayer for decades by then. It didn't make sense that all the scoobies make it to the end alive, that they never really screw up. Buffy'd made her romantic mistakes - it was Xander's turn, and Willow's, and so on. They're all human, and the choices and fuckups and all that - were human and IC and logical progressions of all that had gone before.

"Once more with Feeling" has been put out as a CD. My daughter got it a month ago and has played it ad nauseum. ("It could be BUNNIES! BUNNIES. . . or maybe midgets")

Spike is the only ficitonal film character whose death Marirose has cried over. I didn't, which was a surprise, since I am known as a sentimental drip and at the video store I frequently hear "This sounds really good. . . but it's going to make Mom cry."

I so cried at Spike's death, but I was also grinning the whole time. I also cried at Tara's death. And, well, Buffy's. The second one, at least. I don't recall if I cried at the first one, it was kinda quick and she was resuscitated so quickly.
