So I gotta say, as much as I am very glad that I no longer live there, I am very proud to be from Archbold. Although, I do qualify it, when I tell people that I went to AHS, I qualify my educational experience by saying, I was there when Mr. Hoverman and Rich Schnipke were there. i hear what you're saying. it was nice to go to a school that is so strong in so many fields. it also prepared us for going to college. they are a very successful school. i'll give you that. but atown as a whole sucks. our school was awesome, but the town could be better. as a town, they're very wealthy and egotistical. nearly everyone there (unless mennonite) has the "holier than thou" attitude. sure, that means that we have lots of opportunities and have a good education. yet, i didn't very much appreciate that all of our opponents viewed us as being rich and snotty. although, i think that was not quite as true in sports like tennis, track/CC, and golf, as compared to the main sports that AHS actually gave all of the money to. like i said in one of my entries, i miss my friends of the town and my family, but i don't miss the town as a whole. i miss the great educational atmosphere, but i don't miss the snotty social atmosphere ( ... )
