I can't tell you how relieved I was to hear Simon admit that, if Zorzi wasn't his bunky, he'd be completely screwed writing about Tommy Carcetti's life. Because I always think that sort of thing is because of all my limitations or something.
That sounds incredibly arrogant, doesn't it? If I wasn't fucked up, I'd know everything.
But that's not what I meant.
Life just gave me a giant rolling basket with handles on it, for me to put all my insecurity and self-doubt and rookie anxiety into. And I get to take it EVERYWHERE and watch while other people put their junk on it, too. Yay me.
