I actually managed to summon the courage to ask my parents if they would consider getting another dog. They have some strong doubts, but are considering it. My mom hates to say no to me. But I am required to make a compelling case. Am doing research.

Oh! Has she seen the dog? That sometimes helps. It's hard to say no to those big ol' eyes. :)
