Part of the secret to their awesomeness is that they were 40% off. Otherwise I wouldn't be trying on shoes like that either! But it was also part of my desire to have something other than basic black for once (and a metallic pewter is definitely still a versatile shoe color for my wardrobe) and I wanted to have something really, really rockin' to wear with that tuxedo-inspired blazer. Now let me let you in on one of life's unfair little secrets: tall women wear tall heels best. And you qualify! I'm sure you could rock the right 4" heel yourself!
