Since you asked... CALM DOWN! They won't kill Kelly. They would lose half of their viewers.

As for the spoiler about Dawson confronting someone from Casey's past, I think it could be Hallie. I follow one of the writers on twitter, and he mentioned that if everything goes according to plan, we'll see more of Hallie before the season is over.

For the shooting, all I can think of is Cruz. I can't see Casey's sister getting shot and Antonio... He's a great character. I really, really don't want him shot.

CALM DOWN! They won't kill Kelly. I know, I know!! Only, also, FREAKING OUT OVER HERE! There have been A LOT of recent deaths in my television viewing history, AS YOU WELL KNOW!!

Things I have learned? TRUST NO ONE!

Do you have any opinions on the spoiler itself? The bomb scenario?

Re. Casey and Dawson, I think I'm still leaning more towards her confronting his sister, but I could also buy that it's Hallie. I could even buy some scenarios in which it comes about. Maybe Hallie hears about the hearing re. his mum and attempts contact/is comforting, and Dawson gets all territorial. We've seen her like this previously with Shay. She's definitely got a little bit of spite in her!

But yeah, I still think a "WFT ARE YOU DOING TO YOUR BROTHER?" confrontation with Christie is more likely. But that's based on nothing but my own thoughts!

Either way? Bring it on!

I think Cruz for the shooting is almost too obvious. But I also can't come up with any other scenarios...

Well, trust no one that doesn't know how to write. The Chicago Fire writers have already proved how good they are at weaving all these stories together and making entrances and exits significant. Kelly is one of two very main characters. They aren't going to kill him. Honestly, that would be the last thing I'd be worried about. They would never kill Kelly off. Like I said, the viewership would drop like nobody's business ( ... )

Maybe there's some fire in a chemistry lab or something and explosions go off. But, why is Severide even there in the first place? If he is, then there has to have been a MASSIVE time jump... which, well, as discussed, DO NOT WANT.

Facetiousness aside, it would suck (understatement of, well, this year at least) if they killed him!!!! And I'm a little scared by the fact that Dick Wolf is okay with killing off characters. I think program makers are wise to the fact that we never expect this and are liking to differentiate themselves as edgy by subverting our expectations.

ETA: oh wait, you already pretty much said all that, in different words. I should read first and comment afterwards. Sorry!

As for no-spoilers-please!you, I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! I got really angry at myself for accidentally spoiling myself for the Shay/Dawson accident. And I swore I wouldn't do that again. And then, bam, tumblr tells me there's new "Severide Scoopage" and I HAVE NO SELF CONTROL.

Seriously, aside from personally not wanting this show without Severide, it would be a cop-out if it's because they don't know how to deal with his injury. It's also not what I've come to expect from this show and unless Taylor Kinney wants off the show or some issue like that, there's a lot more stories to be gotten from his injury and recovery process, even if they need to shorten it for the 'viewers' interest' sake.

Also, I don't know which episode they're shooting right now but last Saturday Taylor Kinney was still hanging out in Chicago with Lauren German. Look:

one: my mind also goes to Cruz, he's the one with the brother who was a gang member.... BUT Casey has anger issues, and was involved in a confront with a cop, so maybe Voight seeks revenge by sending one of his men shooting someone of his family.....

two: well, Dawson being the hot head she is.... it could be anyone who pissed her off lol I like her but well... I can see her crossing a line with Hallie, his sister, his mom... but for Casey to think their friendship is compromised, maybe his mother, we know how Casey is about his mother subject....

three: I doubt Severide will leave, he's a popular character, I think.... (but since I don't really care for him, I wouldn't mind if he left the show, sorry Severide fans!)

three: each to their own, obvs. though, to be honest, this is one of the very few shows where I just wanna scoop allll the characters up and carry them around with me. I love everyone in this bar. And given some of my other fandoms, it is a glorious place to be!

two: I could give money to watch Dawson and Casey's sister fighting! Fun!!

three: That's true, the writters did a wonderful thing when they planned their personalities, and making us love everybody!

I read the spoilers too, and I agree Cruz would be too obvious for the shooting part, I hope it involves another character besides him or Casey or Kelly, since Severide´s dad is going to be around too ( ... )
