Oh I'd so be there, if only I came home from school a day or two earlier! Curses! I'll spread the word to my animal loving friends and family though. We used to have a bully breed mix (he was chow-chow and then some bull-type breed), Sam, such a misunderstood sweetie - so I'm a big fan of this cause.

I'm taking off my moderator hat here and putting on my nonprofit hat, so with that disclaimer:

In the interest of disclosure, I checked out Pinups for Pitbulls at Guidestar and can confirm that it is a 501c3. It is not based in Chicago - it is based in Pennsylvania - but presumably there is a chapter here. Additionally, this is a new nonprofit, founded in 2009, and their 990 form is not yet up on Guidestar. Without the 990, there's no access to financial accountability information.

You should probably note that the actual cost of a ticket is not tax-deductible, nor will raffle tickets or (obviously) purchases. I know this post is looking for vendors, but since most people reading this are more likely to be attendees, I thought it prudent to add that information.
