also, maybe it's something off of Lincoln? That provides a lot of 6 corner intersections.

Lost Eras in Rogers Park.
Corner of Howard/Rogers/Greenview.
Get off at the Jarvis stop on the red line and head north on Greenview. It's actually closer than the Howard stop.

Many years ago, before Wrigleyville became totally yuppified, there were some funky shops, and one that came to mind was Strange Cargo at 3448 N Clark, at the corner of Clark, Sheffield, and Newport. The place across the street (which decades ago had been a White Castle) was a laundromat for quite a while (but has, I think, turned into an Einstein's Bagels). I don't think they're into "thrift" stuff much anymore (but they used to have racks out all over the sidewalk), however.
