I was bummed that I missed the Holiday Train this year ... I'll usually try to coordinate my schedule to be able to get on it at some point, but I was the only one in my family that had any enthusiasm for tracking it down. I did see it, though, when it was crossing State Street at the south end of the Loop ... not sure which line it was (it was heading west into the Library stop, so it could have been Orange, Pink, or Purple). I usually try to catch it on the Red Line, northbound from the Loop, taking it up to Addison, where I can just switch sides of the platform to head back downtown!
