Glad you're okay. I had the same thing happen to me last winter at the Ashland Green line. The CTA person just glared at me like it was my fault. No sand in that case either.

Wow, I did the same thing getting home from work a bit ago getting off my stop, I walk down the stairs (which were covered with salt, btw) and I walk out the door, walk across the street and totally wipe out climbing the curb, twisting my ankle really good. I'm glad you're okay though, yours sounds a lot worse than mine, lol.

Ow ow ow. I fell down the stairs at Madison/Wabash yesterday because of slickery snice. I feel your pain. Literally. In my ever-loving ass. Glad we are both okay. Come on, summer.
