This is crazy to me that your family is in such a mess. It makes me sad, I love ya'll as my own.
My dad said he's gonna kick Jason out at 18 if he doesn't get a job or go to college, I think he thinks it's a joke but it's really not :/
Anyway, I got a bridge card and I have no clue how. I get $176 a month and it's sweet as hell. I'm not sure how much you would get as you don't have a lease and you are employed. I get the maximum from the state ($176) because I have rent that I pay to a land lord ($275/mo) and then I am unemployed but a full time college student.
Hope it works out and don't hesitate to call if you need someone to talk to or somewhere to go. You could always stay with me up here for a weekend in my apt or with my parents for a day or two.
