Hey, you know how every year I say that I'm never going to work a Regis Glee Club concert again? This year when I say it, I get to mean it

I'm so glad no one on my flist seems to want to use that feature. Because I will kill things when my flist starts disappearing behind random, unhelpful cuts.
"The Wizard & I": queer/trans anthem, y/n? Oh man, I've been thinking that since shortly before I came out to my family. Uh, yeah. Also, what, Barrowman cover of "The Wizard and I"? WANT.
The first time I saw it, see, I knew about the new flagging feature, I read about it in the official posts, but I didn't process it. So I for some reason figured that somebody was making a movie-related joke with their LJ cut and moved on.
And then I saw it a bunch more times, realized, and went ARRRGH NO. *flail* I hope your flist remains considerate. I will definitely not be making use of the feature.
It's...it's so obvious. Yes? Yes. (And, uh. I'll share. I need to do an upload post soon anyway.)
I know! It's like...orange is a color that invites you to use it. It's attention-whoring. By making the flag orange, they're pretty much saying "Report this! Please? Even if it's not actually flag-able material!" It's really annoying me.
You could very easily make any character in the Newsies gay with any other character. They are all obsessed with touching one another. Really. It's hard to think of them as straight.
I'm pretty sure that I'm incapable of thinking of any of the Newsies characters as straight. Really. Given that assiduous1 and I were freezeframing the rally at the end trying to decide which of the very few girls in the crowd was Sarah's girlfriend...yeah.
It has to be Disney's queerest movie ever, and I love it for that. ♥

It's not a very balanced meme, is it, in that it seems to assume that the defining feature of "girls" is being obsessed with their appearance. *blink*
Seeeee ittttttt! It is a ridiculously slashy movie with lots of pretty teenage boys who sing, dance, and touch each other inappropriately at all times. I ♥ it.
