Hey, so you know how I talk about my list of TV shows I haven't watched but one day will? Generally when people pimp fandoms to me and I'm like "That's totally on my list, I just haven't gotten to it yet

Community is about a guy who has to go back to community college to prevent himself from being disbarred, because the bar association finds out that his degree isn't legitimate, and then he forms a Spanish study group to try and get this girl into bed, but it doesn't work, and he ends up becoming friends with the group despite himself, and then... hijinks ensue. It's one of the funniest sitcoms I've seen since Arrested Development. Highly recommended.
The Guild and Life on Mars are on my list of "To watch someday", too! I've only seen S1 of Chuck (and I need an icon of it) so far, but it is so much better than I had expected it to be. Castle and HIMYM are very worth your time, too!
Have you seen Eureka or The Mentalist? Those are good. White Collar has been recommended to me, but I haven't seen it yet.
The Guild has the advantage of only taking a couple hours to get through in its entirety. So it's not such a huge thing to start.
Life On Mars (UK version only) is awesome. ♥
And HIMYM is just amazing. It makes me happy inside, particularly when you watch it in bulk. I would actually say it's funniest when watched as a marathon.
life On Mars is definitely going to be the UK version. All I've heard about the US version is that it is LULZ, mostly the bad kind.
Half the people in my house watch House, so it probably wouldn't be hard to pick up! And it has Olivia Wilde, so that's kind of incentive. Black Books I've seen the first couple episodes of and always wanted to watch the rest.
House is awesome. Although they have a gajillion eps. Black Books is quicker to get through though.
QI (it stands for Quite Interesting) is a panel show about anything and everything quite interesting, with Stephen Fry as quizmaster. And they generally have awesome, hilarious people. And it's hilarious and educational, and they're silly dorks, and I love them.
Rocky start but a ridiculously amazing show and OMG Richard Dean Anderson! And RDA's EPICLYLULZ 'I don't dye my hair! ... I naturally went ENTIRELY GREY in 3 episodes!'
Jack pretending to be a moron but secretly rather intelligent! Jack's dry humour!
And Jack/Sam! And Jack/Daniel which WAS NOT SUBTEXT!
And Daniel coming back from the dead, repeatedly, like every other episode >.Daniel and Vala! Which isn't until the last couple seasons
( ... )
Arrested Development? Or has that already been crossed off? OH, AND BEING HUMAN!!! AMAAAZING!
Also, I totally second merlin (I am totes in the honeymoon phase of just having recently discovered it myself and having become totally enoramored by it/it's fabulous cast)
Also YES to community and veronica mars (mainly S1 and ok I guess S2)

I've heard good things about the premise of Eureka! I don't know much about it beyond that, I'm afraid.
