Gah, so I'm tired of reading studying, so DISCUSSION, YAY. \o/

I'm surprised - there's more of you on my flist than I originally thought, so let's talk. :D

Why do you like the pairing? What made you start to think about them together? What makes you interested in them?

( my thoughts under the cut - don't worry, it's not like a thousand words or anything :P )

Eep! See my fondness for the pairing initially stems from, no joke, a teeny tiny little ficlet where both sets of brothers are in a diner eating pie. That is all I remember except for Sam and Dean were arguing about something and Gabriel firmly took Sam's side because Cas had Dean's covered.

I remember reading it and thinking 'that makes no sense, but it's kind of cute'.

I'd loved Gabriel from his very first incarnation as the Trickster (to this day my roommate and I periodically quote the 'slow dance' line at each other), but I love the added depth the angelic background gives him.

For me there are no canon moments that make the pairing sensical, I'm just inexplicably charmed by it.

yeah, canon doesn't help us at all, but you're right, that's the perfect word. it is quite charming indeed. :D

I've loved The Trickster since he first showed up, yes even the Mystery Spot episode, so when they made him Gabriel I was super excited. I was also VERY upset when he died. I don't really know how I got into the pairing lol I just sorta read a little ficlet somewhere and got sucked in :P I love the pairing cause it's so fun usually, Trickster/Gabriel is so playful and mischief causing :D but also the redemption element, he can give Sam hope to stay strong and keep fighting the good fight. He brings so many options to the table and with the love I already had for him it's a pairing I cant help but love <3

I LIKE the mystery spot episode. Everyone hates on it, but I don't mind it that much. Mostly because Gabriel's in it. But I prefer Tall Tales because he has more scenes in that ep. *grins*

I can totally see either of them topping or bottoming, depending on the mood of the fic, I suppose. But either is really hot. *GRIN*
