they feel like a slight weight on the ears, but they don't really pull much. My original pair were way too big, so I made them about the size of a penny in the hopes of reducing the weight on the ears.

When I tried a 2-second jog with them on, they really didn't bother me too much... since I made these originally for myself, and I'm sensitive to weighty earrings, I can assure you they're really not that bad on the ears. =)

They're not made of silver.... truth is I don't really know what they're made of. When I bought them there was no specification of the metal type, but it's probably like aluminum or something more sturdy than that. I can't wear non-gold for too long myself, so I'll have to wear them off and on.
