This was actually ridiculously hard to do because k is a rather neglected letter in the English language. Eh. I tried.
1. Karaoke I love to sing (by myself, in the shower, chomping on a stick of gum), but I didn't know that I loved to sing in front of other people until I went to Japan and was passed a microphone in front of the rest of the kenshuusei and the company officials. And I don't suck too much if I choose songs in my range.
2. Kick-ass Women It's practically a rule for me that I will love the female characters that can take care of themselves in a fight.
3. Killing Time If only they gave out degrees for this, I would have graduated magna cum laude for sure. Better yet, I wish I got the job offers that Al's been getting ("$38 an hour to basically sit around and do homework"). That would be awesome.
4. Kittens They are the most irresistible force on this planet. I dare you, I double-dog dare you to resist the cute of this. Or this. Or this.
5. Katara One of the main characters on Avatar: The Last Airbender. I love almost all the characters on the show to pieces, and while I initially had concerns about Katara (she fits the maternal support stereotype), she eventually became a kick-ass waterbender (see #2) and one of my favorites.
6. Kicking My Brother's Butt at Mario Kart 64 It's the only game I can consistently beat him at.
7. Kestrel's Music Videos Would that I knew how to do ANY kind of video editing, but that's neither here nor there. Kestrel's vids are amazing and very much worth watching. She's caused me to buy CDs and she got me into Firefly. And her Patlabor AMV made me cry, even though I know absolutely nothing about the show (her Nadia one did as well, but I've seen that series).
8. Kiwi Fruit I'm a fan of all fruits, but kiwis are especially yummy.
9. Kyoto Yes, most of the criticisms that Alex Kerr has are valid -- Kyoto is not a particularly beautiful city, nor has it been preserved all that well. Regardless, it was always a treat to go there, whether it was to shop, hang around the Kamagawa, sightsee, or go to the bars. (Did I mention the great shopping?)
10. Kestra Because there's just something incredibly satisfying about a villain that does evil stuff because he wants to. No angsty past to make him sympathetic, no justifiable reasons for mass slaughter and terror...just pure, badass, unadulterated, 100% Evil.
