Post-Olympic reflections

17 days of madness. It's over now, and I'm definitely feeling the symptoms of withdrawal.

Up till the day before the games began, I didn't care about any of it--I thought I would watch it on and off like I usually did with the previous Olympics.

So, what changed? )

well said well said--!! The television cannot transmit the true atmosphere and emotion of the actual but just seeing the expression on the athletes faces moved me to tears quite a few time. Sitting down now, I do not think I will be able to experience such feeling again.

They have inspired me quite a few times and matured me a bit with their passion in achieving their dream.

BTW Cheryl Bernard is hot shit. I secretly find her very smexy and foxy 8DDD and cheered when she appears in the commercial.

Haha yea, and it really is something to be in the crowd at an event too. I am ever so happy to have been to the hockey game and to have cheered Team Canada on. :D

Bernard is definitely foxy, I agree. That term came to my mind too when I saw an interview of hers while she was doing stretches at a gym. XD

It's so awesome that the Olympics were held where you lived! So jealous!! It's great you were able to be there and experience it all! The Winter Olympics is the only time I get to see any winter sports on TV here. But our TV channel had really dreadful broadcasting times though which was a real shame!! I was really excited about being able to watch the figure skating on TV (Although it was not live) since I'm a big figure skating fan! We get nothing here in Australia :(
