The birthday present that keeps on giving (and/or just wouldn't die!)

Dec 30, 2009 21:04

XD So I kind of went and sicced a plotbunny on Jou a year or two ago for birthdayfic ideas? Yep, she's still writing it! (I... I didn't actually intend to devour her ficbrain whole...?) A Nano's worth of writing later, here's the latest installments:

Harrow Children on LJ
and
Harrow Children on IJ

[Too lazy to log out of the Bella!account, srry...:P]

I never have enough plot bunnies.

(I can say that using this journal, because Bella is one of my few muses who doesn't mind lying. XD]

XD If you want any more, I'm sure Jou would be happy to inflict some of hers?

I wish I had predictable-enough time to haul 'em back into a game! When I drop offline for weeks at a time as often as I've had to this year, though, it's just not fair to the rest of the gamers... ;_;

Hi! Nice to have a "name" to go with the poetry! ^______^

(I've actually wondered that too -- about the gender disparity between fandom writing and professional writing, where men statistically get the majority of the paid work but women (especially in certain fandoms) are far and away the majority of the producers of unpaid writing. The recovering English major in me says I'd better not think too hard about this lest I find myself coming down with a case of feminist essays, though... given a limited amount of free time to work with, I could get my blood pressure up with essays and research, or I could write more fanscribbles, so I think I know which way that coin toss is going in my head. XDDDD But let me know if your psychology major friend has any statistics!)

Well, latest stats show that in a fandom made almost entirely of male-pronouned robots, and most fics involving some sort of pairing, it's gonna be the girls out for slash. Even if they're robots and half the time we can't tell if we're reading pr0nz or a normal story until 12 chapters in. (done that >///<)

I love your stories, but I can't find anything past 2009...

Have you stopped? Cuz I would be sad. I hope you get this message!

Are you still posting somewhere else?
