Our cats were less freaked out by the fireworks too. By now they ignore the construction except when the big digging machine that shakes the whole house rolls by.

Awwww! I'm glad he's calmed down a little! There's a stray black cat at work that my boss and I take turns feeding - he's still way too skittish to pet or anything, but he doesn't run as far, these days.

And unrelatedly, we have a betta now. And he's such an entertaining little fishie!
