Severe Storm

Columbus just got fucked up by a severe storm. Crazy flash flooding in German Village (halfway up some poor people's car doors, Cup O Joe flooded out), branches down everywhere, even trees uprooted, giant lightning strikes.
Crazy.

Holy shit was that thunder scary! I was trying to take a nap and all of a sudden thought a bulldozer was breaking through the wall right above me. The flooding didn't hurt any of your stuff, did it?

No, but we didn't check the basement. Not that there's anything down there.
The flooding on Third was insane, though. This one guy had his hood up, and his engine compartment was FULL of leaves, pine needles, and debris. Like I said, the poor Cup O Joe was flooded, too.
We were at COSI while it went on, and watched the lightning before the rain from the front. Some of the lightning was giant, and we even saw a strike really close, in Franklinton. *Something* sparked when it got hit!

Holy shit. It kinda came out of nowhere, yeah? I don't recall it looking very overcast or anything on my way home from work. Was there hail? Because it sounded like there was hail.

Nooooo about CupOJoe. We had our entire sump pump and emergency water pump stock bought out at ork before we closed after the storm. Glad you guys are ok.
