I think I know what you mean... for I used to like Bleach too~
Perhaps not as much as you, and perhaps I give up on that endless repetition earlier than you, and perhaps I was not that attracted to it after all.
At first am captured by it but when the story turns to drawings with not even a monologue? I give up on the manga; when the anime also turn into to a endless loop of the undying Ichigo... I forget about it after missing 1 or 2 eps.
For me, its like someone I used to like, but not love yet. :p

I really loved it. In a way I still do because I'm the type of person who might not focus on characters or story.. but the concepts of a world. And i found the idea of shinigami so cool. I still do actually. So it's why I began to like it so much. Just the idea of it, of "what if this was real?"
but if you talked to me about the story.... eh.. ^^;; I liked the beginning, as in when they were trying to save Rukia. The rest ... kind of.. bland-ish. And as I mentioned, character wise... I actually don't really like anyone who isn't a shinigami xD
It's just.. you know almost... 3 years of trying to break away from a series that I still can't break away from. And the fact that my most favourite character died... i really needed to rant. haha....
