Computer woes
So apparently my laptop decided the middle of the semester was a good time to start crashing repeatedly and throwing up blue screens of death. Awesum. As far as computer failures go this one hasn't been too bad, it still boots up so I've been able to back up all my files, but using memory heavy programs like Maya feels like I'm just asking for it ( Read more... ) -
GIANT ART GEEKAGE
So a few weeks ago, I found out about this project that one of my idols, Dice Tsutsumi had co-organized and carried out for charity. The concept was basically to create a sketchbook that would be passed around, hand-to-hand, to the top artists and illustrators working in the field today. As of yesterday Commander Beefy Shepard was imported to ME2. One small step for man, one giant leap for hot man-on-man space relations.

I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS
I don't even know if anyone else cares but oh my goddddd, I just got a 2nd opinion from my texturing & lighting roomie that those "official" femsheps (and the mshep) were most likely PAINTED and not 3D rendered like I first thought.
