I just saw Star Trek at the Imax theater..... I'm still in awe. I didn't have huge expectations, seeing as it's a "reboot" and I knew there was going to be a time travel plot to explain away all discrepancies... but it was done well, and I was bloody impressed at how everything was pulled together.

( Review. Not really any spoilers... I just like this icon :P )

From what I understand, hardcore trekkies will be pissed by the movie, but casual trekkie fans (such as myself) will be in awe. I'm curious now. XD

Yeah, I can see that. They did deviate from the original story, but they wanted to make it accessible to new viewers. Also, so they could have Leonard Nemoy make a cameo appearance :P

I had one issue.....

A BLACK HOLE IS NOT A FUCKING WORM HOLE!!

Other than that I loved it.
