The day wasn't horrible, but, let's face it, it wasn't fantastic either. And now, due to certain rantage, this post is both f'locked and under a cut for those of you who don't want to read my drivel.
Certainly not. We've got a whole load of loud people struggling to be the centre of attention, mouthy people with a tendency to clash, people who have the attention span of a goldfish, people who are easily irked... all in one fun-sized team!
At the worst of times, it can be utter chaos.
Happily, the day after was much better. Blue Planet aquarium was awesome!
Hmm, that girl (Ms. Perhaps-Pregnant) reminds me of an ex-'friend' of mine! This 'friend' (inverted commas because she did not exactly embody the ideal definition of the word 'friend'!) used to come out with all sorts of weird attention-getting tales, such as:
"When I was born one of my legs was the wrong way round and I had to have an operation to put it the right way round" (which, amazingly, I think was at least partly true!)
And: "I have a disease that means I will be totally paralysed by the time I am 20 and unable to speak or swallow" (last heard of in perfectly good health over the age of 30!)
And: "I have a disease [Ed: another one?! Unlucky...] that means I have to eat lots and lots of sugar and sweets or I'll faint"
...I daresay there was more but those were the best/worst!! XD
More importantly, though, here's hoping the remainder of the project goes well and that there are more positives than negatives at the end of it! :-D
Miss Pregnant-with-Twins is also a fan of the disease/disorder thing. She has alopecia, 'photosynthesis' epilepsy(that's what she actually called it!), schizophrenia (only she describes it as something more akin to multiple personality disorder, and schizophrenia = multiple personalities is a common misconception), bipolar... and the list probably goes on.
Her older brother was 'kept on at Sixth Form because his grades were so good', only that doesn't happen. People who get good grades go on to university and the people who don't do so well get kept on.
The latest episode in her epic adventure is that she posted a picture of her latest ultrasound scan to some social networking site - only a friend of mine found the exact same picture on Google images, and it was clear she'd pilfered it.
