The sponsored novel is done! Well, I say 'done'... it's over, at 103 pages in total. I managed to get £44 out of it, which covered the shopping, at least. Half the people who decided to sponsor me didn't pay, but it's not a problem - as the great god Tesco says, 'every little helps'!
A massive problem has arisen, though. I won't have enough money

Taking the elderly out for a museum day sounds like a lot of fun! That's a great service project. I've been wanting my service group to do something at my grandma's nursing home. So far I'm thinking of making little paper flower corsages and handing them out to all the ladies around Mother's Day.

We had one lady who wasn't too keen on the museum, unfortunately, but we think it was becase she wanted to be back at the home with her husband, who suffers from MS.

I agree with wilky_wit that that sounds like an awesome service project. I bet they'll love it.
I know what you mean about your mind just wiping itself clean after bad experiences. I'm pretty sure that's why women still give birth.
And yay for returning to the Great Couch and getting a fiver. I hate how much it costs to travel these days.
I also hate the spacebar on this computer. It will only work if you tap the left side and I grew up tapping the right. SO ANNOYING!

Unfortunately, I don't like planning! :)
I hope I'll remember it all in future, since I'm planning on writing a memoir of the twelve weeks. I suppose staying in contact with people might be a good idea after all, should they remember something that I forgot!

I hate those super-slim keyboards (like the Mac ones). They're absolutely horrible, especially when the keys are all stiff. My new computer came with one just like that and I had to change the new keyboard for my old one as half of the buttons I pressed didn't even register because they were so stubborn.
