I just realised what I really want out of this season of Supernatural.

And then I want Sam to get kidnapped. Or Dean to get kidnapped.

That's specific! I don't think that will happen, as Kevin is in the damsel-in-distress role this season.

However, I do believe the Winchesters will be in danger separately, and will have to come to each other's aid.

Yeah, I don't actually think kidnapping per se is really in the cards for Winchesters anymore, but all I really want is an external threat against which they can defend one another and become unified.

Preferably with jacket-grabbing and face-hands. I miss uber-protective Dean, man. :S
