I really enjoyed this flipside to "The French Mistake."
I liked the boys' continual comparison to what acting the story felt like vs. being in it, like when the angels appear/disappear. I wondered if you were going to undo the deaths in the 'real' world, and I'm glad you didn't even tho it is harsh. And I'm glad that Jared insisted on Jensen going home with him.
Man, this was awesome. Really enjoyed it, I'm finding myself wishing for more, like tons more of the adventures of Fake!Jared and Jensen. And Bobby was really fantastic about it. (Still do feel bad about Fake!Misha.)
I do have one little thing, I mean it a lot facetiously so I hope you don't take offense, but everything that is a Winnipegger inside me needs to say it anyway.
"Seriously, man, the weather. Been working in Vancouver nearly ten years and the winters still kill me."
Winters in Vancouver? Seriously? Winter? In Vancouver?
(I am under the impression that you are actually from Canada and know what winters can be like everywhere that is not Vancouver, so, hence, the facetiousness. Although, maybe to a couple dudes from Texas, our beautiful balmy Vancouver winters likely aren't something they're used to.)
Anyway, would totally love to see more of this universe.
Thank you so much! And... yeah. I'm from Alberta and I lived in Edmonton for six years, so yes, I am aware of just how relatively non-traumatic the winters in Vancouver are. :P But... Texans! Hell, I wouldn't be able to handle the summers there; it makes sense to me that Canadian winters, even the mild ones, would give them trouble.
I'm not offended in the least, by the way. It's ridiculous to me as well. :P
I can't promise you anything, but I had a lot of fun writing these two, so who knows? I may revisit them. ^_^
Okay, whew, I was worried about expressing my feelings about Vancouver winters. I mean, I would vacation there. We good.
Although, you're totally right, I didn't even think about what I would think of their summers, haha.
If you do, I'll be there. Emotional impact of their world for the last seven years gone? Fake!Misha dead (who I got the feeling the Fake!J2 were somewhat contemptuous of)? Jensen joining the Padalecki fam? It could be very cool. But, hey, can't force inspiration. =)
I agree with the funnesss of adventures of Fake!Jared and Jensen (CAS! yes Jensen,s freakier than it looks on TV;) and this
"to a couple dudes from Texas, our beautiful balmy Vancouver winters likely aren't " lol- no, I worked a winter in Texas, and it was 50 degrees in January, and swear to god, they were bundled up in down coats and complaining about the cold!
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I both hated and loved that they'd be going back home to all that carnage... if nothing else, it was fun to write!
