Suffice it to say I had an awful day at work. The details got really boring, so let's just say that my boss and one of the salesmen completely dropped the ball on a deal, and I did my best to compensate when the customer showed up to pick up a machine that wasn't ready to be released, and neither party was to be found ( Read more... )

I hate being yelled at by people when it's quite obviously not my fault. (That seems to be most of the interactions at my job. People blaming my office for things that are not in our control. Thankfully I've only gotten 1 sort of death threat.) But it sucks, mostly because I still kind of take it personally ( ... )

It's really hard for me to take that kind of stuff in stride, particularly at that level. These people were REALLY angry, and there was no one else for them to take it out on. :-/

We're supposed to move in with my bff for a while when we get to Hawaii. She currently lives with her boyfriend and another roomie... Her boyfriend messaged me and expressed a couple concerns, and again, I think I just took it way too personally. Dregs of a crappy day, I think.

I love buying computer stuff on the internet, although it makes me wonder how brick and mortar stores can get away with the kind of highway robbery they tend to get away with.

It is almost sad how excited I was to go to the eye doctor, lol.

Understandable. I'd feel the same.

Why would he be concerned?!? It's not like you're bad people or irresponsible. Definitely the icing on a bad day cake.
