We had our apartment warming party on Saturday. It went splendidly. I spent hours decorating cupcakes for the birthday boys, and I was pretty satisfied with the outcome. We got our first noise complaint, as the boys (including our downstairs neighbor) thought it would be a good idea to have a wrestling tournament at 1 AM. Sigh

Yeah, it's a texture thing. It's very strange, because I have no problem with wet bamboo skewers, but I will literally get up and run away from a wet wooden spoon.
