I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm addicted to makeup/hair tutorials on YouTube...hah. Most of them leave much to be desired, though. That one is surprisingly well done. The only thing that irked me was how she applied her mascara. You're supposed to start at the base and wiggle it back and forth a bit, then trail outwards - not just touch up the ends!

Thanks for posting the link to Makeup Alley. I checked it out and I've decided it's something I'll become addicted to.

You're totally right. A lot of them are either wayyyyy too complicated, wayyyy too much makeup, or just not very good technique. I take them all with a grain of salt and end up using what works best for me. This chick's tutorials are usually REALLY good, but I usually don't put on the same amount as she does. She's really pretty and she's got GREAT skin-- it's almost strange that she even wears makeup at all!

MUA eats up entirely too much of my time. Plus it's fun to know that if I ever get really bored, some of the Wet 'n' Wild makeup they sell for a dollar down at Rite Aid is actually pretty decent. :3

I have that camera too! Mine isn't pink though :(. It's been a great little guy for me when I don't want to carry around something bulky.

Oh thank god. I was so close to buying something bigger, because 3x optical zoom doesn't seem like very much at ALL, but I didn't want to blow three hundred dollars on a second camera.

I almost got the "bohemian brown" one, only because I liked the name. But my inner girly girl wanted the pink one, so I had to indulge. Do you have a case for yours? I'm seriously ( t h i s ) far away from making my own. Thirty five bucks for a case 1/20 of the size of my big camera bag (which was only $100) is absurd.

Surveys kick ass! I did one at Cisco a couple months ago for $75 for thirty minutes of my time (actually my company's time) just to test out a prototype website design. And last week, I went to Nuance (Voice recognition software) on my way to Fry's for company stuff and tried out a voice recognition system for $125. The company that invites me is mostly geared towards IT folks and it's usually like two days notice. I wish I could do one a week but, so far its maybe one a month.

Even still, an extra $125 per month is nothing to scoff at. That's good stuff. You should spread the word to Justin. He's a busy guy, but I'm sure he'd be down to make a little extra dinero on the side too.
