...So then I was like, "I think I'll buy a laptop today."

Maybe this means I'll be able to leech off of other peoples' connections be online more frequently.

I have a metric shit ton of photos to upload. Maybe someday I'll jump on that.

Wardriving is fun. However, you can only leech connections if they are unsecured (unless you can bypass 64/128-bit WEP/WPA encryption). There's a lot of unsecured networks. Even Newman's satellite internet service is hosted on an unsecured wireless network (FTW-Newman).

As for computer stuff, I too also recently bought parts for my desktop (new case, mobo, cpu and vid card) but while the case should arrive tomorrow, I have to wait for the rest of the parts until Monday XD. I wish I could have afforded an iBook or MacBook or whatever Apple's latest generation of MacOSX powered laptops are called. They are super sweet.

I know about the unsecured bit, silly. I did pay attention for the first year of Cisco, when Danner actually thought we'd be taking it seriously.

My boyfriend has a macbook. EXPENSIVE AS SHIT. Mine's bigger and faster with a bigger hard drive, and it was like, less than half as much as his was. His is a nice little compy though. My cousin has a Macbook Pro, and it's probably the most amazing lappy I've ever seen, but it was like, 3 grand.

You can run Mac OS on a PC, y'know.

I can when I get my new parts. You can run MacOSX on an x86 architecture PC only if your CPU supports at least SSE2 but you need SSE3 in order to run PowerPC apps like iTunes on it. So when I get my new computer stuff, I am dual-booting into mac OSX and Windows. Though I still want a MacBook for all the hardware features.

Okay, so I was just thinking about those "Mac Guy Tries To Make PC Guy Look Like An Idiot" commercials, and I came to the conclusion that a pc running a mac os would be like, their lovechild.

...too much spare time? I think so. Encyclopedia Dramatica beckons.
