I wish that screaming in frustration would help.. I'm tired of feeling like a bird with clipped wings. The cage door is open. I've got the chance to fly, but I just cant seem to get off the ground. As much as I hate to admit it, I think my parents were right. THat as much as I hated it, I should have lisened and stayed at home... At least I'd have ( Read more... )

Stephanie there is a solution. Move back in with your parents. I know this isn't an easy solution emotionally especially now that you are engaged. But not one to be immediately ruled out. It would give you the opportunity for you to save some money and also would make it easier for your fiancée to get on his feet as well. After you both have stable jobs then consider moving back in together.

Also I know you can find cheaper and better housing. For a fact I could get a nice place in Athens for 400 a month. A lot of that is living in the cobb area. If you can't brace yourself to rely on your parents who love you and would help you. You should consider moving somewhere where housing is a reasonable price. It would also be an opportunity to find a place within walking or biking distance of a job.

I hope you figure things out

there are times when all you can do is grip onto life as hard as you can-hold on to yourself-your core-grit your teeth, and do your best.

You don't know who I am, but I know how you feel.

do your best. Heh, sounds so easy doesnt it? like holding onto a rail in the midst of a hurricane will leave you and the ones you love unscathed. What they don't tell you is that that hurricane acts like quicksand. it sucks you down so fully that you cant be sure your head will ever break the surface again. Life is not kind, and it is not just, but there are people like me out there. What is that word- kindred spirits? joined by a cause?

When you are ready, I want you to find me. It never hurts to have good friends around.
