I feel so bad right now that I feel like crying. Actually... I am.

*snugs* I hate it when people forget that we do have other stuff in our lives aside from what we do online and what interests us overseas and everything. Like at 9/11 - I had friends affected, living there, and everything, but I still had to go to my classes and take care of my brother, but it didn't mean I wasn't thinking about it.

Real life is important. Family is important. I'm sure there are people in Japan who have become even more aware of this in the last few days. Family is precious, so no one has any right to tell you that you should ignore them simply to focus on current events. If you ignored family to focus on every natural disaster, not just Japan, you would never see your family.

Er... babbling now *snugs*

I have nothing against your having other things to think about. Everyone does.

It's just that this disaster has hit really close to home on a personal level, and I feel totally helpless while emailing friends to see if they're okay... you should still post whatever you want about your sister's wedding though. Nobody would hate you for it.

Personally I think it helps so much to read about good things to just... tear your mind off the whole thing, which I seem unable to do all day.
I mean, if you can't help what else should you do than go on with your life... you're not obliged to have a bad day because something bad happened.

You are not insensitive. Life goes on. While we all care about Japan, and have friends there it doesn't mean that the world stops even thought it may feel like it for some.

*hugs*

Who said it? Who made you feel bad? Does Ouhi need to choke a bitch? >:(

I stand by you on that opinion, especially because I had to go to a FUNERAL for my grandmother yesterday. Japan was far from my mind. I feel bad for Japan, and hope they're able to pull themselves together, but heck, it's a freakin' natural disaster. They happen. And if people choose to live on fault lines and in areas with volcanic activity and earthquakes and tornadoes and so on, then they have to deal with that. If they really want to get that fussy, then they should just move.
