Forever Entwined : Chapter 2

Jan 19, 2011 10:02

It was the night of August thirty-first. The new term began the next morning, but while Ron and Hermione slept upstairs, Harry wandered about downstairs unable to sleep. Since his conversation with Hermione at the end of June he'd split his time more evenly between taking care of Teddy, fixing up Grimmauld Place and spending more time with the ( Read more... )

Thank you! I'm actually writing a little each day for this so I can update as frequently as possible :D

I always thought Harry would never like attention, but try to grow accustomed to it, helping to save the wizarding world cannot really be forgotten, especially when they are going to put him in history books.

I have plans for their co-habitation, so it should serve to be very interesting indeed, because some will drag their heels about working together. ;)

Thank you very much! I'm glad your enjoying this and my other stories, I'm grateful for the attention and time you took to pen this review; it definitely puts an extra incentive to keep working.

I love the tone of this story. Quiet, almost meditative. Yet, at the same time, on several occasions my stomach did a little flip-flop of suspense...during the sorting hat ceremony and when portrait!Dumbledore wanted to speak to Draco are two examples. Luna and Neville are wonderful and I am entranced with your Harry.

Amazing job!

I'm happy meditative Harry has not been too depressing *grin* there will definitely be a lot happening, I just want to make sure all of us are prepared, you as the reader and Harry as the one who lives through it :D

Omg! I love Luna she always had a wise insight for the things around her. And like Harry said she never changed, she stayed constant. I don't know if the first years were more amazed at seeing Harry or being at Hogwarts. Who am I kidding, if I was a first year my eyes would have stayed bugged out that first week! Wow, only 22 students summed up the "8th years"! That's depressing for everyone, having lost so many friends. I think its for the best that they share a room with one another. Especially if it'll bring our fav boys together! Wonder what Dumbledore had to say to Draco?? Love this, love you.

I adore Luna,I've always loved her way of supporting Harry without pushing too hard; she's just lovely. I know how you feel, I would be awestruck from the first boat ride. Thank you so much ! *hug*

Thank you so much *cheesy grin*
Thank you for confirming that I am accomplishing what I aimed to do, bringing you into Harry's mindset. You know I did too, I always thought that the boy who cried in the girls lavatory with no one but a ghost to lean on, even for a simple release of emotion, could not have walked away from this war unchanged.

Don't even worry, I get just as passionate when I talk about the subject, I agree with everything you said ... we'll work on that in this story ;)

Yay! Chapter 2 is up! Lol. Let's start from the beginning. When Harry was reminiscing about his time with Andromeda, I was happy to note what you wrote for the interaction between Harry and Draco. Even though, it was just a passing thought...or not so passing, it shows Harry's slow change of feelings towards Draco. Kreacher was a dear in this one. I'm getting fond of him. I love the milk scene, both of them. :) I don't know if you did it intentionally, but when Harry remembered Luna and his adventure with the thestrals and mentioned no one else, I was just thinking how that symbolizes how this adventure that Harry will embark on will only have Luna as a "travel" companion (although she doesn't really go anywhere but she is the instigator. -hopes no one reads this comment since it's like...a preview-ish. Lol-). And then the sorting hat repeating that song once more as a warning. I am going to assume this is a warning of the split that can occur because of the prejudices against all things dark (such as Slytherins) would be that much ( ... )

Kreacher is a sassy elf, he grew on me after a while , especially when he and Harry stopped antagonizing each other. Honestly, when I first read that song I thought it would be the turning point in the series. I thought ALL houses would ban together and fight but in the end the snakes stayed on the outskirts, there was no opportunity for redemption (at lease it didn't feel like it).

I over analyze everything so don't worry, I will tell you though that there really is no agenda for the Ravenclaws or Hufflepuffs not being there, except I thought the other two houses would really benefit from returning, its always been about them both hasn't it.

Thanks, I fixed the typo :D
