Summary: A little fairy fell in love with a human child. Leaving his realm for the sake of togetherness he dreams of, he has to find the bitterness of his love story. With that boy held his life source, what could he do?

“I love you.”

When those three words simply came out from the 5 ft sized brown haired and chubby cheeked human child’s mouth, did his heart throb. From where he was standing, next to the window that let the moonlight ray blended well with the light of the lamps, he could see. A magic glistened that boy’s lips with seven colors of the rainbow. When those lips delicately quivered to form a sheepish smile, the magic grew stronger. It laid there, hovering the original peach shade. Such hypnotizing magic that human shared to one another. The time seemed to stop for some moments during the interval his heart used to learn the new pace of the beat, which is faster than the usual. The heart that should not exist pumped more blood to his brain, causing his cheeks to glow red. He knew those big brown orbs locked at him cautiously and expectantly at the same time. He felt a strange warmth tingling in his stomach. He wanted to look away… yet that weak and harmless teen was too much captivating. Bit by bit, he found himself lost in those sparkling eyes.

“How was that?”

He could hear the clock ticked again. His soul was shoved back through his throat by the sudden question of the human boy. He flapped his eyelids rapidly to gain more consciousness toward his surroundings. The full moon was still on its best position in the night sky, embracing half of the globe with its ray. The giant nest of human-the so-called ‘a house’-remained undisturbed. Only those twin marble-like orbs was the only change he could find. They flickered impatiently, demanding a respond. It was at least an answer… but an answer to what? His poor tiny brain failed to proceed as he did not possess the knowledge of the civilization of the so-proclaimed as the most intellectual one of the whole creature in the world. It was his first time travelling outside his realm, after all.

“Will he say ‘yes’? Will Dai-chan agree to go out with me?”

He was a small, little fairy that secretly loves a human-if you asked for his naughty adventure, leaving his home behind. He experienced his first love in the age 147 years old. It is categorized young for a fairy, because they can live for ages. He knew how to adore that handsomeness of a human, that tenderness of his act, the soothing voice of his care and the gentleness of his touch. Such short blissful moments he treasured with Yamada Ryosuke made him forget the risk of his love, or rather… his one-sided love. Then, when he heard something that the other lad impossible to hear… something breaking not the outside, but the inside… something that deep down in the pit of his stomach he knew it cradles the source of his life… his heart shattered into countless pieces. It was quite ironic to witness such colorful magic glossing those lips he yearned to claim, yet he could not. Never would that magic showered him. This non-human creature, like him.

Slowly, he nodded his head. His transparent wings glowed brightly as he flapped them to spread a golden dust-a fairy’s magic that helped him to communicate with the human… not through words, but mind.

You will do just fine, Yama-chan. Believe more in yourself!

And with that, Ryosuke squealed and jumped around in circle. He bursted out his million thank you tearfully. But the little fairy could hear nor see anymore. That beautiful black haired tiny-sized creature lost his light in a matter of minute. He had given too much effort so that his smile could linger there longer. His form fell lifelessly to the hard wooden surface of the table with a loud thud. A life source of a fairy once he choose to live outside their realm comes from a chosen ‘untouched’ human child that willingly shares his warm, dearly and loving soul. Now that the young hairless-ape had someone else he is fond of, Yuri gave up. Though it meant that he had to drift into a long peaceful sleep... and never wake up. At least he learned one thing, that a fairytale does not always end happily ever after. Just like his, that ends miserably where he could not be the princess for Ryosuke as the prince.

“Yuri? Are you sleepy already?”

Good bye… Thank… you… for everything...

“YURI!”
