Only necessary because of what were were fighting, though still massively awesome. I think Oliver could totally take down a dragon, or at the very least a medium-sized giant, while the rest of us sat around and drank tea.

Pssh. A strong giant only has 12 hit dice, so he's got a maximum of maybe 130-150 hp or so. Omega Oliver could take him down in three or four rounds, even less if he was evil. Which most giants are.
