Holy crap woman, don't you DARE stop using extended metaphors because they are AWESOME! I saw this on Jess's LJ and it was good then and I like it even more this time around. Robin comes off so very wicked and Zoro fares not much better (jealousy on him is fairly attractive) and poor victim Sanji...

I started the fic thinking 'poor Zoro', but I ended thinking 'poor Sanji', caught between two predators. The descriptions of Robin are chilling (it doesn't help I have an active imagination and a large dislike of spiders). It'd be interesting to see, through this perspective, when Zoro's view of Robin changes (if it does...you can be nakama and still be predatorial in your interests; you'd just skip the heartbreaking part, though, presumably) Um, I ramble, I'm not awake yet...

The imagery you create, the tension and the atmosphere, is unbelievable. By simply casting Robin as a spider, Zoro as a scorpion and Sanji as a butterfly, you've instantly established the mood, and have captured my heart for all eternity. This whole fic is disturbing and rich and chilling and erotic, and I am fangirling damn hard, but you deserve it. ♥
