Ahhhh the next 2 weeks will be an actual nightmare for me. Whoever sat down and planned the dates for study leave DID NOT DO IT RIGHT!!! Seriously, why put it like halfway through the exams? Why do the exams keep being brought forward? We have to do schoolwork, homework and revise at the same time (well I think most classes have finished the course ( Read more... )

*huggles* You can do it!!!! Good luck with all your exams. Oh your going to China? XDDD Are you going with your family? I was there last year, took a 10 days guided trip together with my mum and it was wonderful! I loved walking the great wall. It was amazing. *nods*

Thank you!

Yeah, I'm going in July for 12 days, it's actually a sort of school trip, some associations and boards got together and decided to do funded trips to China for a reason I can't really remember, but basically they only offered it to certain schools, picked from a lottery sort of thing, and my school managed to get picked! It's great, because everything in China will be paid for, we just have to pay for flights and visas and other stuff.

I would love to see the great wall, not sure if we will though.

does sound super stressful...
WISHING YOU LOTS OF LUCK! <3
You'll totally ace them, I know it already.
Just for extra luck, why not visit neighbor!Yesung again?

As for university apps, do you guys need recommendation letters too? We needed that, usually from our teachers. One teacher required us to give her a box of "high quality" chocolates before she'd write one...sounds a lot like bribes, doesn't it? lol

Thanks for the good luck wishes <3<3<3. I don't think I'll fail them, I just want to do well so I don't have to work unbelievably hard next year to make up for it. A visit to neighbour!Yesung sounds very tempting, I might have to lose my keys and spend the night round his place.

Yeah, we need recommendation letters from our teachers and form tutors. My form tutor was like, well of course we have to tell the truth, we just don't necessarily have to tell the whole truth in them, which made us laugh. That does sound a lot like bribes, I like the "high quality" detail though. Did you get her anything?

lol, I got her chocolates too. She basically listed off 3 chocolate shops she liked and hinted heavily that she would prefer getting it there. What is kind of sad is she got so many requests (English teachers are really popular to ask. Science/Math teachers are really smart but not always very articulate and add in the "fluff" in between to make things sound better^^) so the letters she wrote started to all sound pretty much the same, kind of like "copy and paste" :D

It was quite a good move for her though, she gets lots of chocolates for writing letters, and, from what you said, that basically involved just copying and pasting, or using a template.

I think we have to get one from each of our subject teachers, who write about how we act in class and our work habits etc, and some people do mainly maths and science ones, and there are definitely a few teachers who I doubt are articulate. It was quite funny actually, when we were told each teacher we have would be writing something, you could just see several people go "... ohshit

There is a creepy child laughing outside my window. Well, not right outside it, but in one of my neighbours' gardens and it is freaking me out, children should not laugh like that!

*hugs* That's totally cap man! Whoever made it like that is a douche and a half!! >:| Like seriously, I find it ridiculous that some teachers just offload work onto student without putting their other subjects into consideration.

But, nevertheless, I know you'll get past this bump! Why? Cos you can go to China then!! 8D

Yeah, like just because they think their subject is the most important, you clearly should too. It is really annoying, although it means I have 2 school free weeks during it, which won't be too bad.

China is a great reason to be motivated :D
