No, barge in all you like here. I felt so alone last night while I enjoyed myself and the other two bitched about the lack of FAAAAACE on the screen.
Then it went into shipping Penelope/Vespa Girl, and I wanted to go "but he really does love her and couldn't do it for the money! YOU know that trope and it's amazing!"
Oh I completely agree! I thought it was beautiful that he really loved her but let her go to be "happy"/break the curse. I also thought it was beautiful that he wanted to be a better man in the end; he wanted to quit his addiction, to fix his life and to play piano again simply because she INSPIRED him to be a better person.
That's what made me love the movie, really. That and it was kitsch and eccentric and wonderful. Although I admit I am a fan of McAvoys face too :-P
HAHAHAHA! Its so nice to know I'm not the only one who yells HIS FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE! Every time I see him. But seriously, HIS FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!
Also, you singing Gaston just about slayed me with the funny. A+

It is one of a few songs I know all the words to! I am so bad with remembering lyrics, mostly because I impose new ones on the song.
