On Academic Productivity

Let's face it, efficient productivity is hard. It gets even harder in grad school when you don't have hard deadlines and you don't know exactly what you're doing. OMG story of my work life. Sad to say Yee Chieh, this cycle of self-violence isn't going to stop after grad school LOL. I am forever trying to research, implement policies, and create products that I HOPE will make money. I don't really know until I give it a try. The more I brainstorm on an idea, the more I have to research and the more I research, the more I realize I shot myself in the foot hahaha. And yes, at some points, I am looking at a website or document and I ask myself "what the hell was I originally looking for?"
I know you're not the giving up type. At some point in time, hopefully sooner than later, you'll get rewarded for all the hard work you put in. When you do get that small yet crucial amount of feedback, take it seriously into consideration. Of course, if you get feedback from a bum on the street, don't take it seriously. Don't give up!
