Being a Dad (and Zeke Video)

So, ever since God blessed my world with the wonderful (yet tiny) package known as Zeke, everyone's favorite question seems to be "So how's it feel to be a dad?" or "Are you enjoying being a dad?" Nate and Tina,

I can tell by your love — as expressed — that Zeke is in good hands. And Nate, the "hidden" symbolism within the video shows that you are raising him to be a real man.

Don't think it escaped my notice that you are playing car ads in the background, and that you are training him to expect the TV remote to be within arm's reach at all times. You are passing on the Torch of Manhood in non-fumbling, expert fashion.

One question, though... who is it that you tune out with the headphones? Or are those for Zeke -- training him for his teen years and those daunting father-son talks?

ROFL!

Not surprising that you are much more observant than the rest of the viewers. You have no idea how long I waited to be able to catch my wife holding Zeke, while he was awake and car ads were playing at the same time. As to the T.V. remote, I can credit that to Tina's genius.

And actually, the headphones are not for me to tune someone out, it's for Tina to tune me out... or more specifically, so she can study while I am playing games like Half-Life 2 or Puzzle Pirates that have [extremely distracting to studiers] vital audio feedback.
