There was an envelope sitting on the bench in the middle of the changing room when they entered. On the outside of the envelope read, 'To The Cute One''.
"Hey! Look! I got a love letter!" ChangMin seized up the envelope, showing it to the other guys.
"Who says that's for you?" YunHo yanked in out of his hand, re-reading the words on the envelope.
"What makes you think it's for you?" YooChun countered, snagging it out of the taller man's hands. "I think it's meant for me"
"Please!" ChangMin attempted to reclaim the envelope. "It's mine!"
"Yeah, right!" YunHo crowed. "It's quite clearly written for me"
"You think you're cuter than me?" ChangMin challenged, moving close so his face was nearly in YunHo's.
"Hell yes! Look at me! I've got the eyes! I've got the dimples!" YunHo grinned, showing that dimple he spoke of.
"I've got bigger dimples" YooChun countered with a bigger grin. "YunHo hyung, I've heard a lot of girls going on about you....they have never used the word 'CUTE' to describe you. Handsome, sexy, fine...yes. Cute, no!"
Tapping the envelope in his hand, YooChun shook his head, now facing ChangMin. "You're a good-looking guy.....not cute. This is NOT meant for you"
"And you think you're cute?" YunHo huffed. He was not about to admit that he had not been called cute since he was nine.
"Of course!" YooChun flashed his grin again.
"You are NOT cute" ChangMin drooled followed by a roll of his eyes. "They always say that you are 'NICE'"
"Yeah...AND I'm cute too!"
"Guys...guys! You all are not even in the running! I am the Epitome of Cuteness! Everyone says so! Everyone thinks so!" ChangMin chose to vogue for them. YunHo snickered. YooChun frowned.
"We've never going to figure this out on our own. Maybe we should get an outside opinion" YooChun suggested as they finished gathering their things for the day.
"Yeah, let's go ask Jae-hyung. He'll be frank with us" YunHo agreed, leading the way out of the room.
"Hell no!" YooChun chased after them. "Everyone knows that Jae-hyung has the hots for you! That would not be fair vote. In addition, he thinks ChangMin as a sort of pet. I wouldn't have a snowball chance. I suggest we go for JunSu!"
"Not on your life!" YunHo hissed. "He's always bickering with ChangMin, and he knows you've got a crush on him. It'd be biased against me! I'll say HeeChul!"
"Do we really want him to know about this?" YooChun waved the envelope in front of the two. "He'd never let us forget about it"
"That's true" YunHo agreed. "But who do we ask?"
"How about KangIn-hyung? He's mostly the 'middle' man. I bet he has an opinion on which one of us is the cutest" YooChun suggested. Now it was ChangMin's turn to frown.
"Look, I like KangIn-hyung...but do I want to know that he thinks I'm hot?"
"Eww" YunHo grimaced. "I don't think I want to know what he thinks of me either"
ChangMin nodded solemnly as they were heading to the exit. KangTa was standing by the doorway, wearing a disapproving frown. So engrossed in their conversation, none of the men noticed him as YooChun suggested.
"Let's ask Sica! She is bound to think one of us is the cutest. Or we can ask Sunny!"
"Tricky Sunny! Keep her away from me!" ChangMin winced at the memory of being tricked by the pint-sized girl. "Just hand over the envelope. We all know it’s mine!"
"Heck no! It's mine!" YooChun countered, holding the envelope out of reach of the big man.
YunHo took this opportunity to snag it from behind. "I am definitely the cutest one here!"
"I don't actually want to know what is going on between the three of you" KangTa cut in, taking the envelope as he startled the trio. "But from what I've heard. You're going back to Junior High tonight"
Embarrassed and red-faced, the three headed out. None of them noticed the other two standing in the doorway.
"So, what was in the envelope?" JunSu laughed.
"Nothing. I told you they'd fall for it" JaeJoong grinned. "They are all a bunch of ego-maniacs!"
"You are one cruel man" JunSu chuckled, shaking his head as they headed off.
